Side-Game

Coming late 2008.

In 2007, we formed a team of 7 fellow developers and artists, and set about making a game. The end result, after seven months of development, was Side-Game, a 3D sidescrolling puzzle-platformer.

Players take on the role of the Collector, a service robot exploring the depths of Abacus, an enigmatic, colossal machine. Armed with a gravity manipulation tool, the Collector must solve puzzles, evade danger, and make its way out of the machine in one piece - and save it from destruction in the process.

Side-Game makes use of the Ogre3D renderer, Newton Game Dynamics for physics, FMOD for sound, and Squirrel for scripting.

Side-Game will be available for download later this year.
